I purchased a laptop computer from Gateway a while back, and the screen ended up messing up. Now, many months after the initial problem, having to contact the BBB, etc etc etc., things are still screwed up, but I'm basicaly happy with it. I was talking to some friends about this, and one of them commented that this would be a great thing to send to Scott Adams. We were trying to decide if you would be better off simulating the role of the evil empire trying to screw over the customers, or the customer getting screwed over by the evil empire. Anyway, enough chit-chat. I've got a web page with pictures and extremely detailed information (what can I say? I'm an engineer) on what has "gone down". Take a look at it if you can find the time!
